Our dedicated team is committed to providing personalized assistance with daily activities, such as grooming, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.

In addition to meal preparation, our services include supervision to ensure safety and peace of mind for both clients and their families. We offer companionship and socialization, engaging in meaningful activities and conversations to promote mental and emotional well-being.

Light housekeeping tasks are taken care of to maintain a clean and comfortable living environment, allowing clients to focus on what matters most. We assist with tasks that affect daily health and routine, such as medication reminders and assistance with personal grooming routines.
Correspondence and entertainment are also integral parts of our services, as we understand the importance of staying connected and engaged. Whether it's helping with letters, emails, or organizing leisure activities, we strive to enrich our clients' lives.
Furthermore, transportation services are provided for shopping, errands, and doctor appointments, ensuring that clients can access essential services and remain active in the community.

It's important to note that our companion care services do not include heavy cleaning or hands-on assistance. Instead, we focus on promoting independence and enhancing quality of life while respecting each client's autonomy.

What We
Offer
01
Supervision/Socialization
-
We offer supervision and socialization services in various settings, including your residence, hospitals, assisted living facilities, and nursing homes. Our team assists with daily activities and routines, while also curating personalized activities to promote engagement and cognitive well-being. This does not include hands-on assistance, transfers, bathing/dressing, assistance with medications, blood pressures, fingersticks, etc, and no assistance with toileting or incontinence care. It does include assistance with correspondence and entertainment.

$35 per hour with a minimum of 3 hours

8:00 am - 10:00 pm

Night shifts must be at least 8 hours and must start before 10:00 pm

Light Housekeeping

Recognizing the significant impact of a clean and orderly environment on comfort and well-being, we offer light housekeeping services. This includes tasks such as vacuuming, dishwashing, mopping, trash removal, bathroom upkeep, laundry assistance, and changing linens.

This aspect is integrated into our supervision and socialization services.

Respite
-
Respite care offers families and caregivers short-term breaks, for planned or emergency temporary relief. Our team provides companion care respite services to support the families of our clients during these periods of respite.

The family is advised to give Better Together staff at least one week's notice of desired respite services.

There are additional fees for companion care respite.

Prepare Light Meals & Snacks

Our team is skilled at preparing light meals and snacks tailored to the time of day they are needed in the home. However, please note that our services do not encompass frying, baking, or the preparation of full-course meals.

This aspect is integrated into our supervision and socialization services.

Transportation

Our team offers transportation services for various needs, including errands, shopping, and doctor appointments.

Clients are encouraged to provide our staff with at least one week's notice for any upcoming doctor appointments.

Service Fees

Payment is rendered at the end of services.

Invoices for daily companion services will be sent at the end of each day.

Contractual Clients will be invoiced monthly at the beginning of each month for services rendered for the previous month.

There will be a $10.00 upcharge for Holidays.
Better Together does not directly invoice insurance providers. Instead, we bill the client or their family as outlined in our agreement. It is the responsibility of the client or family to communicate with their insurance company for any potential reimbursement.
